Our lab studies how environmental exposures alter gene regulation during development and how those molecular changes influence nervous system function, physiology, and disease risk.

We combine developmental biology, toxicology, genomics, proteomics, gene editing, and computational analysis to uncover mechanisms that connect exposure to phenotype. Using zebrafish and other integrative model systems, we investigate how environmental stressors perturb developmental programs and long-term health trajectories.
